Chili Cook Off and Spades Tournament this weekend to help children in DCS care
Renzo Gracie Clarksville is setting up a big combo event this weekend: a Chili Cook Off and Spades Tournament!
The event is a fundraiser for the DCS Christmas Fund, bringing holiday magic to children in care across Montgomery County this season. With approximately 1,500 children in care this year in our area, the need is larger than ever.
Event tickets are just $5 per person, and you can jump into the action by registering as a chili competitor or a Spades player!
- Chili Cook Off: Think you’ve got the best chili in town? Enter for $10 per chili entry and compete in meat, vegetarian or spicy categories. Winners in each category will be crowned, and the People’s Choice champion will receive a grand prize.
- Spades Tournament: Bring your partner or register individually to be paired with a teammate. Entry is $20 per team, and the winning team will take home a grand prize. Includes complimentary chili tasting.
The event is Friday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. Admission includes chili tasting and voting. For more on the event, go to rgclarksville.com/chili.
Don’t miss out on the chance to make a difference while enjoying an evening of delicious chili and lively card play!
