CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fort Defiance Interpretive Center & Park hosted its annual 19th century Christmas event on Saturday, offering guests a way to experience Christmas traditions from the 1800s. It included singing Christmas carols, making old-fashioned crafts and enjoying treats from that time period.

This year marked the 14th annual Christmas event at the park, and it was bigger than ever. More activities were available for both kids and adults.

“This year, we’ve got more kids’ activities and even activities for adults.” stated William Parker, the historical interpreter at Fort Defiance.

Due to high demand, the event was limited to 50 attendees, and tickets sold out quickly.
